The Event Ecosystem a Finalist for two Australian Event Awards

A.C.T.A parent company, The Event Ecosystem, has been recognised for its outstanding work in events with the announcement that it is a National Finalist for two Australian Event Awards in 2019.

The categories in which The Event Ecosystem has been nominated are: Best New Product and Best Event Service, which relate to its work on talent booking platforms A.C.T.A & G.E.T.

Founder & CEO of The Event Ecosystem, Harris Meitanis, said: “We’re incredibly humbled and excited to be nominated for not one, but two Australian Event Awards!!!

Massive thanks to the judging panel for including us in amongst a list of incredible and amazing finalists – many of whom are colleagues, peers and friends!

What excites us most, is that given how The Event Ecosystem has been developed, designed and improved specifically for event professionals, to receive nominations for Best New Product and Best New Event Service, is massive vindication of our efforts and a huge encouragement for us to continue to strive forward to improve the entertainment and event industries which we all love so dearly.

Thank you and see you in Perth!”

Following a rigorous first round of judging by event industry leaders and experts around Australia, The Event Ecosystem’s place amongst the National Finalists has the weight of the industry behind it. Entries are judged on all aspects of the achievement including innovation, best practice and sustainability as well as the achievement’s contribution to events and the difficulties encountered in executing it.

Co-chair of the Event Awards Judging Panel Peter Rix AM said:

“The Australian Events industry has been a world-leader for many years now and this year’s achievements demonstrate why. The skill, determination and innovation displayed by all the finalists is remarkable. They are to be congratulated for not being content to rest on their professional laurels, but for pushing the boundaries of achievement and looking for new and more spectacular ways to put on their respective shows.”
